Policy Officer | International Relations Specialist | Governance and Diplomacy Professional


Egbe Benson Agbor is a committed policy and international affairs professional with demonstrated expertise in multilateral diplomacy, strategic governance, and peacebuilding. He brings a nuanced understanding of political processes, institutional frameworks, and international legal instruments, developed through both academic specialization and practical engagement with national and international bodies.

Currently serving as a Professional Intern at the Ministry of External Relations of Cameroon, Mr. Agbor plays a supporting role in the drafting and review of bilateral and multilateral conventions, as well as the preparation of technical documentation for Cameroon’s engagement in international forums, including the United Nations General Assembly.

Previously, he served in the Senate Cabinet of Senator LEKUNZE A.N, contributing to legislative research on biodiversity and natural resource management, while participating in inter-committee collaborations during key parliamentary sessions. His earlier experience as Operations Manager and Co-founder of Cabinet d’Etude: Research Business and Development involved spearheading agricultural development projects, coordinating contract execution with government partners, and overseeing institutional representation at pre-litigation proceedings.

Mr. Agbor holds a Master’s degree in International Relations (Specialization in International Disputes) from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC). His postgraduate research focused on environmental diplomacy, with a thesis titled “COMIFAC and the Protection of Forest Biodiversity in Central Africa.” He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Buea.
